Ladies Only Swimming

The Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre in Kilbirnie Crescent, Kilbirnie Wellington offers a Women's Only swimming session between 6 and 8pm each Thursday evening. The pool used for the ladies is the hydrotherapy pool which is private with frosted windows and has its own changing areas. A swimming instructor is available for swimming lessons. The pool is not deep so you can walk from one end to the other which in itself is excellent exercise. This is a great opportunity for gentle exercise, to learn to swim in a private and supportive environment. Please make the most of it as it will only remain available if the service is used.

The cost is $5.00 per adult ($3.00 if you have a community services card).

When you arrive at the pool, pay for your swim at the reception desk and mention you are there for the Ladies Only Swimming session and they will direct you to the right pool. If the doors are locked to the hydrotherapy pool just ask a staff member to let you in.
